You can get into programming with valet switch to change it. Open door and turn ignition key on then off. Hold valet button down to access menu #3. Release valet and press 5 times then one more and hold. That will access crank time. Keep holding valet until you are done programming this feature. One chirp will be 0.6 seconds, two will be 0.8 seconds, three will be 1.0 second, four will be 1.2 seconds, five will be 1.4 seconds, up to nine chirps will be 4.0 seconds. Press the arm/lock button on transmitter to set back to default and the disarm/unlock button to toggle through selections. However if the unit is locked out of programming with bitwriter, then it will need a bitwriter to unlock programming options.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

Why are you doing a timed crank on that vehicle? Tach wire is simple. Purple wire on coil 1...front driver's side if it's the newer motor. Otherwise it's white at the distributor. Piece of cake. This way you'll get good reading on EVERY start.
