haven trouble programming the tach signal one a prestige model aps901 remote starter. i installed it in a 2007 jeep wrangler in combination with a PKU-CH2X bypasskit.the directions tell me to turn key to on then hit program button 3 times. turn key off hold program button and start the car.Once tach signal is learned its suppose to flash parkin lights.i have tried this several times with no luck.multi meter it seein voltage at the tach wire input on the remote start module.wondering if anyone is fam with this model starter because the program button is led and mine doesnt light at all.not sure when it suppose to be light though.thxs in advance for any help on this problem

The status led and programing switch are combined in this model.
They used to be separate so it has 2 connectors at the brain. Make sure they are both plugged in.
You are following the correct tach learn procedure.
If the think the switch is bad, you can cut the black and BLACK/ grey wires and touch them together like you would use the switch.

Did you get it working yet?

To program tach, you only have about 3 seconds, so act quickly. Turn on ignition & hit valet sw. 3 times, shut ignition off & then immediately restart your car with your finger on the program button. That will do it.

Led doesn't light, I believe, unless you are programming other selectable features.
