Not a noob, but apparently brainfarting somewhere. 562t and a 91 chevrolet f/s 1500 4wd automatic. grounded the neutral safety. grounded the WHITE/ blue wire. hooked everything up the way it tells to do. no lock or unlock. no remote start. although when you press buttons on the fob, you can hear the brain responding or trying. is it required to use relays for the door locks, it doesnt say that it is. not sure what else you may need to know, but please help. thanks and sorry for the ignorance.

another board said the same, i tried that, and still nothing. any other ideas, maybe the remote is not learned correctly? the brain makes noise when you push lock or unlock, and the led flashes. thanks for your help!

As far a keyless goes, I believe that truck has 5wire locks in it. So yes you will need relays.
What did you use for your tach wire? The remote is programmed to the brain because it makes the LED flash, so thats not your problem. Do the parking lights flash at all?
