I put a remote start on my truck i used a dei 556s-w the one with a blank key in it i cant for the life of me get the key to program?? any ideas? thanks chris

well on that bypass u stick one key in the theft light goes out then you do the other key i have done lots of these and cant figger out  why its not working?

so you're powering up the remote start to simulate turning on the ignition the second time in order to program the 556s?

start w 1st key, start w 2nd key, place new key in ign then hit rem start (assuming the starter is wired and programmed). then put the key in the bypass and ajust your ring

this by pass has a uncut key in it im gonna try to ajust my ring

rather than trying to program it via the ring, remove the key and hold the key next to the ignition as close as possible to the factory PATS ring when programming

well i moved the ring it  worked great i have done a ton of fords and never had to move the ring ?guess theirs a first time for everything thanks for your input guys.chris
