We installed a remote starter in a 99 Chevy truck w/factory alarm. Everything works OK, but the owner says the remote starter sometimes sets off the alarm when he starts his truck, like every third or fourth time he uses it. The remote starter is a Cheetah. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Make sure that the output signal going to the Cheetah alarm is a strong enough signal. If the IMPACT DISABLE signal is not strong enough the alarm will not think that it has been disabled and will activate the system.
