Plan on doing R/S install on 06 Jetta diesel. Is there a good place to grab a tach signal on this vehicle? Also plan on using 556uw for transponder bypass. Is method 2 on the directions, what most of you guys are using for VW's(splice into factory transponder ring circuit)? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

ALSO AT ECM MODULE AT CENTER OF FIREWALL

i would leave the rind alone and not tap into the immobilizer.

So what your saying is not to cut into wiring, do the looped wire around the cylinder?

correct, use the RF ring they gave to you. This is because you are unsure which are your data wires.
