if you hooked up all the wires correctly, the next step would be programming the module, it should explain it in the installation guide.

you've got the following wires connected correctly?
Ignition 1 GREEN/ VIOLET (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory 1 GRAY / YELLOW (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1 RED / LIGHT BLUE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
did you program tach or put the unit on voltage? disconnect the hood pin cometely until you have the remote start working correctly. actually had someone bring theirs in because they just couldn't get the remote start to work. they just never adjusted the hood pin so it was always showing ground.

make sure the remotes even respond to the unit. If not program them. Then disconnect the shut down wires ( brake & hoodpin). Make sure you have ground on BLACK/ white wire & black wire and 12 volt on all red wires. ------------- Speed of Sound Technologies

Where did you ground the unit ? Sounds like a ground issue

You HAVE TO have the main ground connected otherwise the system will not work properly. You can ground all the ground wires at the same spot. ------------- Jeff

It comes as a default option to read a tach signal (PURPLE / white on same harness and hood pin) If you're not using a tach signal, you would have to program the unit to voltage sensing. I believe its menu 2 option 2.
I would however recommend using a tach signal. The truck will crank until it starts instead of a pre determined amount of time. We all know cars take different amount of crank time depending on weather and other things.
