03 pont grandprix alarm rearm wire

Hey guys. I recently installed a RS100 Bull dog remote start system in my 03  pontiac Grandprix GT. It works great and I have it all finished up. One theing the company couldn't helpme out with is arming the factory alarm with the new set up. It disarms like its supposed to, locks/unlocks like its supposed and eveything works like its suppose to. My question is, Is the a wire that when triggered will rearm the factory alarm when I push the lock button on me new key FOB. The alarm will arm with the factory key fob so I know it works. The installation guide does not provide information on this so I'm going to have to do it my way. I just need to know what wires to trigger to get the factory alarm to arm when the doors locks. FACTORY ARM  SEE NOTES          Typically, the factory alarm system can be armed by pulsing the TAN (driver's doorpin - ) at the same time as the lock wire. This may however not work if the factory alarm system is not set up properly. You can reprogram the alarm using the instructions in the vehicle's owner's manual, or see our diagram called 'Pontiac Grand Prix 1997 & up - Factory alarm programming'. See the BCM diagram for exact pin locations.  FACTORY DISARM  ORANGE / black  Pin-C5 on C2 connector at BCM    -    Typically, the factory alarm system can be armed by pulsing the TAN (driver's doorpin - ) at the same time as the lock wire. You need to do a search on how to change the programming of the factory security, I cannot paste it, or give a link. And I type WAY to slow to type it here myself.

The Tan wire is in pin C1 of the BCM's 32 pin plug left of the steering column. It gets a little more complicated though than just hooking to this wire. You need to use a relay to open this rearm pulse to the doorpin wire. If you don't, the driver's door won't lock if the car is running. The BCM senses the ignition on, the door opening and the lock circuit activating. It thinks you are going to lock yourself out of a running car. Use a relay wired as follows: # 86 to ignition, # 85 to the remote starter's ground out when running (diode isolated from anything else on same wire) # 87a to the driver's doorpin wire (tan) and # 30 to the remote starter's rearm wire.

Never be sorry for asking questions. The lock wire can be used to rearm the facgtory alarm. Split the wire into two branches. Put a diode inline in each branch with the band of the diode towards the remote starter. One branch will go to the door lock wire and the other to terminal # 30 of the relay. Take a wire from terminal # 87a and splice it into the tan doorpin wire. What this does is send a ground pulse to both the lock wire and the doorpin wire at the same time. This will cause the alarm to arm. it will take a few seconds for it to happen. The reason for the relay is to open the wire to the doorpin while the car is running under the remote starter. If you don't do this, the BCM will not allow the drivers door to lock if it sees the car running. All GM "W" body cars with factory alarms are like this.

I have the same problem with a 2002 Grand Prix and a Viper 160VX.

One question on this method. If the Factory Alarm is already ARMed and you press LOCK on the Viper FOB, will the Alarm be triggered by pulsing the Doorpin wire? Would look like Door open w/o Key.
