I have a 88 crx so there are no power door locks. I have a viper 791 vx installed i the car with the remote start not hooked up. I have actuators for the doors now but they do not get enough power from the 791. I realize i probably have to add relays but i was wodering if the XCRS for the alarm is suppose to give these more power also because  I never hooked that up with the rest of the alarm.

The 791XV has low current outputs so it would need relays to power the actuators. Just follow this diagram. You are only concerned with the negative outputs from the brain so the green would be the trigger for the lock relay and the blue will be the trigger for the unlock relay.

Thats what i thought. Where can i buy relays for this and will one set be enough for both doors or do i need to get a pair for each actuator?

One pair of relays will be fine. My suggestion for where to pick them up would be either at a local install shop or order 2 of these adding one of these will make the job cleaner/easier. You could also find yourself a 451M which plugs directly into the door lock port of your 791. I can not speak for the retailer in that link for the 451M but the price seems fair for a non-dealer. PartsExpress however is a reliable vendor.

thanks that really helps but im just a little confused with the 451m and how it comes with resistors. What would i need those for?

You don't need the resistors for your CRX. The 451M is a multi-purpose problem solver. You problem is that you need more power to run your actuators, which makes a simple install of the 451M or a pair of relays.
