hi all-

im thinking about doing a window module in my truck (530t in 06 silverado). im hoping to get some info/thoughts/opinions from others:

after looking at the install notes it looks like quite a bit of wires to stuff thru the boots into the door. will this be tough?

this particular car - will i be able to put all wires into driver door, or will i have to run over to passenger? (i want to gain the auto up/down on driver switches only)

any other thoughts or considerations?

thanks

The unit is small enough to put in the door requiring few wires to go trhough the door loom. great little unit!!!

530t is designed to control 2 doors, so putting it in one door seems kind of foolish to me.

I put a pair of them in an 06 Colorado Crew Cab, had to go through molex plugs, but in the end it all worked out fine

If all you are looking for is window roll ups you can do it with a bypass module. If you are looking for full control (up and down) the 530T is the way to go.

Here is a link to the bypass that will control the windows via data....Install Manual
