can someone help me?

I've bought a Code alarm SRT 9000 for my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, and the stupid car is just hell to work on
and codes technical support SUCKS...sad to say cuz i really do like the unit a lot

anyways to the problem(s)

when testing for voltages , the BCM sends out 4 different ones.  a  .5v negitive and positive, and a 11.7ish negitive and positive

when i first had wired it up, every time i armed the car, it said door triggered and trunk triggared, then i tried Diode isolating them, which didn;t seem to work either (yes i made sure the diodes where not backwards)
then code finally got back for me, and said i had to double diode isolate the lines...
which now works fine...sorta

the unit does not say door/trunk triggerd when i arm or disarm the unit, but if i do a status check, it thinks the doors are constantly open, and it thinks someone is always trying to break into my trunk.

one REALLY weird/annoying thing, is the alarm will go off, (at random) and say door locks triggered.  and i'll be looking straight at the car, and no one is near by a mile.  The shock senser plays no part in this, because it works fine...i wonderd if somehting was just really hooked up wrong, but no.  It'll be like 4 am in the morning, and the door locks will trigger and my remote will wake up me up, or the other day, i was just looking out my window at work into the parking lot during my lunch, and it decided to go off? makes no sence to me at all

i cant hook it up to the dome lights because of the delay/dim.  it really screws the voltages.

the guy from code also told me to run a 12V constant to each door trigger line + trunk, but to put a 10K resister before the tee.  i have to try that, but was wonder if there is just some way to solve this ongoing problem. i just want the damn thing to work properly as im putting in my sound system very soooon.

a co-worker also said to try relaying the power? because if the bcm puts out a low voltege (which is setting off the alarm) it won;t be powerful enuff to set off the relay, allowing it to resume negitive, i also have yet to try that

anyyyy input would greatly be appreciated!

This is the information for the Grand Pric that I have :

The tan is located in the drivers kick and catches only the drivers door. The dark/blue is located in the passenger kick panel and catches all other doors, must diode isolate these wires.

Trunk Pin - RED / black      -      under rear deck

Did you grab these wires at these locations ?

oh yeah, its only the 2 door model, and yes i do got those wires connected. and i tried diode isolating them, which made the unit think the doors/trunk where triggered when i armed the car, so i double diode isolated them, which now says nothing when i arm the car, but if i do a status check on the lcd remote, it thinks the doors are always open, and that my trunk is always being broken into, even tho the alarm never goes off.

Explain in detail exactly how you've double diode isolated these wires.......exactly what/where on the car is connected to what/where on the alarm.

Why not just put a pin switch in the trunk and call it a day for that.
