Is anybody having problems with the Fortin INT-SL bypass Module? I recently started using them and everyone of them has come back with the same problem. After being used for 3 or 4 days, when you use the RS you cant shut the vehicle down with the brake or key. You have to let it run its preset time.

I've used a couple. Havent seen that, but did have a CTS that it would not bypass if left sitting for a while.

sounds like your starter is not seeing your brake output

are you using output from your brake switch or your bypass

What version numbers do you have ? Are the version numbers the most recent for the vehicles that they're installed into ?

Yeah sounds like the brake output of the module is messed up. Wire it up to the brake switch.

just wire it the brake switch. its a one min job and its more reliable. i never rely on outputs from datakits such as tach, hoodpin and brake output. on Fortin SL2, the tach output is wack, it works at times and sometimes it just doesnt work ahah hope they fixed this.

never heard of this issue. But i'll note it. How many INTSL you've installed and the brake switch doesnt work.

use 4. had issues with tach mostly and the hood status. it kinda lags like you can open the hood and almost 20 seconds after it will trigger.

Well last 2 i used the tach was unreliable. Worked for a little while, then went to RS it and pull it out of the shop no good. Hooked up tach the old fashioned way and bye bye. Using Audiovox RS. I remember seeing Idatalink say that their mods only put out a 5v tach signal and some RS units don't like seeing that low of a signal. Maybe the same with Fortin.
