Sometimes my keyfob (after remote starting it) will confirm with two double beeps... "beep-beep, beep-beep"

other times it'll confirm with three double beeps, "beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep"

what's the significance?

2 double beeps = started, doors unlocked (Alarm unarmed)
3 double beeps = started, doors locked (Alarm armed)
