What kind of vehicle is it? Did you hook up the ignition input?

Is it connected D2D or W2W?

Did you connect to the correct ODBII wire?

More details would be great, year, make and mpodel of vehicle and the RS unit you're hooking up.

Did you manage to get the module programmed to type 7 for your Jeep first?

If so, turn the ignition on, the LED will remain lit, start the vehicle with the key and you should see the LED flash green.

If it does, it's now programmed.

If that doesn't work try resetting the module.

Unplug the 10 pin harness, hold the programming button in and plug the harness back in. Release the button when the LED flashes.

Program the unit to type 7 for your Jeep.

Start the vehicle with the key

You shouldn't have to change any mode options for your vehicle.

I tried starting and the LED stayed red, also tried to reset but when I hold the button in the LED never flashes. Maybe bad module?

Maybe it is a bad module. Which firmware is on it? Make sure it's AMDL 6.00

I would say bad module if you're 100% sure all of your wiring connections are good.

I have no idea why I typed green. LOL. You're correct, it's red all the way through.
