I Hve finished my Hornet 564t install and have had success thanks to this site.  The only problem I have had is my Brake light wire.  i have tied in the brown wire from my remote start aux harness to the green wire on brake switch and it wont start.  I hooked up to the other wire on switch and it will start but will not shut down when pushing on the brake.  Any help or maybee a different wire i can hook too?

thank you

Did you test that wire with a multimeter to verify that it is going to 12 volts when you push the brake pedal? Do you brake lights work?

I have an 05 f150 i just installed a hornet 564t unit on and was wondering how i could get the headlghts to come on when i remote start.  Or even as a different channel on the remote.

There's a RED / yellow wire at the headlight switch.  That is the headlight trigger.  It will show +12v when the headlights are on.  If you want them to come on when the r/s is on, then you'll need a relay and wire up as follows.

85 - to status output from the hornet
86 - to +12volts dc
87 - to +12volts dc
30 - to the RED / yellow wire at  headlight switch

Alternatively if you want hem to come on with the aux channel, then instead of the status output you'd wire pi 85 of the relay to the RED / white wire from the brain of the r/s.  Then change the programming of that to either 30 second timed, or latched reset with ignition.

What is the reason for two +12volt inputs

one allows the relay to power up.   The other, when the relay powers up is fed to the headlight trigger to trigger the headlights.
