What kind,if any- of anti- theft does a 1998 Grand Prix have,it dont have a resister in the key, key looks like ordinary GM key, actually just got this car and it only has one key so got to get another.

From the looks of the bypass websites there is no bypass for it. Is there a light on your dash that says security or theft system?

No light to indecate anti-theft so ordinary cut key should work
