I recently installed a BOA remote start with keyless entry on a 2002 Taurus. It works fine however there is an issue with it automatically locking when it is remote started. Here's a play by play:

1. The person remote starts the vehicle.
2. The person later unlocks the doors and retrieves the snow brush, putting the keys inside on the car seat.
3. While brushing off the car, the car automatically locks for no reason. (car is still running)
4. Person is frantic that the keys were locked in the car.

This has happened twice so far and we are unsure why. I am not sure if it is an issue with the remote start or the car itself. Any ideas?

(I know that by NOT putting the keys in the car would be a solution however this does not solve why it automatically locks itself for no rhyme or reason) Thanks! posted_image
