i have a 02 envoy that i tried to install an alarm to it. the car still has its factory alarm/keyless entry. im almost done with everything except the door part. it seems that i wont lock or unlock at all. it came with a 451M which i tried to use it, but it still didnt work.  i tried what people on here say, which is purple to 12V, blue and green to lock/unlock, and brown and white to ground and that didnt work.  another thing is that it also came with 2  5 pin relays, am i suppose to wire those relays seperate from the 451M or together? also another question is do i need any other bypass module or anything like that? im also looking for the remote start harness (H3) for the clifford matrix 2.5x but cant seem to find any because i want to have remote start and my alarm didnt come with one, is there a plkace where i can go get it online, at the store, or can i use the bulldog remote start harness?  also im pretty sure im going to need a bypass module for the remote start but which one should i get.

if you are trying to connect the locks from aftermarket alarm. do not attempt the way that you stated, that is to wire up actuators. get a module like a 457gw, 1700g, xk01-amdl, gm-dlbp, as-gmdlto3 and there is a bunch more. these will all save you alot of time and frustration. theses will also all work for remote start too, except for as-gmdlt03 will only do locks. the only other way is to go into 3 doors, a 4 relays, or solder to factory relays. not worth it

First, yes get a bypass. It will do all the fuctions you need like doorlocks and baypass the Passlock. Don't use the 457G, it has a problem and most won't lock the back door. I like the 1700G, works well in the truck and will also give you 2 stage unlock plus arm/disarm the factory alarm. Don't bother with the 451M....

just go to local shop and ask the installers if they have it. that will probably be the best way. usually they have a ton of that stuff laying around.

i just got my 1700g module for my 2002 GMC Envoy. my main concern is that there is a pink and a pink/black wire. am i suppose to hook that up too? because on the manual it says that for passlock II vehicle dont use the wiring diagram they sent with the unit? i was wondering if theres another way to wire it up or do i not need to wire it up. if i do can anyone help, diagram would be great, thanks alot...

dont use the pink and pink black. just wire it up how it says just dont use the pinks they are for pk3. i never use the keysense(violet/black) or the panic(BROWN / white). very easy.

What is the problem with the 457GW? My mechanic used this when trying to instal a Audiovox prestige, mod APS905. After trouble shooting with the help line they said the APS905 module was bad, wouldn't initiate. After removing and installing a new one, the 457GW would only start the car but turn off automatically. The 457GW had to be disconnected to start and run the car. Any idea what the problem might be? Can't seem to find any help on this particular bipass module.

Thanks
