where did you get your door triggers? are they isolated?

Hi Doug, If it was me I would disconnect the door trigger wire and see if the problem is still happening. if it is, then you sould try to diode isolate them as kartune suggested., or if the alarm has diagnostics it should tell you which zone is being triggerd.

Read the alarm's LED as usabuilt said, and see which "zone" of the alarm is being triggered.

Probably, you're using the domelight as a door trigger, and the car has a feature which turns on the domelight when the engine is shut off (so the driver can see to gather their belongings before exiting the car).

When the domelight turns on, the alarm sees this is a door trigger.

Most modern alarm/start combos are well-designed enough that they ignore the door trigger input for a few seconds at the end of the remote start cycle (and usually at the beginning too).

If yours is an older unit, it probably doesn't have this feature. If your unit is a current-year model, that's an inexcusable error on the engineers' part.
