Spent the better part of a freezing cold afternoon trying to get this damn thing to work.. basic problem is that the manual is wrong.. it states that thew vehicle has a certain connector on the ecm but it doesnt... sooo... if any of you run into this, go ahead and have them get another key made and run wire loops or use a 555u...

IF your looking for the ECM behind the glove box then it may be very difficult.  Try looking for it at the engine area.  It may even be behind the instrument cluster.  The xk05 has this issue which was present when we were doing a sc 430 and did not find it.  You may try a 555f

i did one of these on a highlander and i will NEVER do one again, what a joke, the manual was totally wrong, if it wasnt for the fact that we have ALLDATA on the computer at the shop i would have never figured it out.

u always use a fortin keyoverride all no need to go to the ecm

all you do is tag rx and tx at the key cylinder and the bypass also does fords

using the same method
