I have a 95 Z24 cavalier, I installed Prestige Platinum with a remote start. The car starts but cuts back off. I installed a design-tech alarm bypass module, but it still does the same thing. I rechecked the tach wire, and for some strange reason it will work when the theft system light is on. What Am I overlooking????

the problem is likely your bypass module. Did you get the universal bypass module? Watch your security light and notice how it acts when the car does not successfully remote start, and also notice how it acts when it does remote start successfully if it ever does. Do this until you feel you understand what is going on then post the results. I suggest this because I dont want to just tell you to use another bypass method until we know that that is your only problem. I am willing to bet that it is. Sometimes those kits do not worl on passlock I very well, and I have neevr gotten one to work on a cavalier. Does the car start with the key still?

Yes it still starts with the key, what do u suggest I do if the bypass module is the promblem.....

Yes it is a design-tech universal bypass module.
