Whats the best place to put the shock sensor?

Well, that is a good question, put it does depend on the style ( single stage or dual stage), but normally, the steering column is the best place because it gets almost equal input form all locations of the vehicle.

One thing to look out for is any and all moving parts! Make sure you desired mounting location is free of this by turning the steering wheel!!
