hi guys, i installed the viper 7900, it worked for month perfecct. then it lost it range to finally it didnt work at all. i then reprogramed the remote and did the same thing again. i thought it was the battery so i bought ipod battery and replaced the original. recharged the remote, reporgramed it and it did the same thing. you press the lock and unlock and it doesnt do anything just transmitter not inrange message. when u press the call button on the antenna it works fine

those alarms are horrible. nothing but problems with the remotes.. do yourself a favor and get the 791xv remote instead.
