I just got a 1995 chevy s10 and this truck had no wiring on it AT ALL. The truck has shaved doors with push buttons that's it. I have ordered a new wire harness in for it, it should be in shortly, I am thinking I am hooking the solenoids to the unlock fuse. What alarm with a 2 way pager would be best? I am not picky to know what part of the alarm is going off just to know when, and range i need. But I want to control the driver door popper with the unlock or aux. And a glass breakage sensor is a must. when I hook the door poppers up how do I wire them? I'm not good with relays. Any suggestions?

Slow down there hotrod. What harness are you waiting for? No wiring at all, is a big statement. Get the truck up and running, then address the other issues 1 at a time.

How do you get into the truck if the battery goes dead.posted_image I'm talking pre-keylessentry.

What would be best is whatever fits your needs AND budget. There are alot of Compustar fans on this site. Their 2 way is second to none. Range and features.

I ordered the 20 circuit universal wire harness from ebay (item 180214321698) This truck literally has no wires. I have a battery relocator box in the bed and a battery backup under the hood. I have the engine (383ci) ready to drop in but I want to wire it first (make it pretty lol). My budget for a alarm it's self not over $300, but if I feel like waiting about another 2 months I can go to $600+.

I will have the truck running by the feb. 24th. Does any one have any suggestions? The one's I am looking at is: CompuStar 2W900FM, CLIFFORD MATRIX RSX 50.5X, SCYTEK VISIONGUARD 8000 (range?), or a ULTRASTART U4265-2W. In the future I plan on having a electric bed cover lift controled by the alarm buttons, shaved doors controlled by the alarm, electric windows, controled by the alarm.
