I have a Clifford concept 300 alarm and have been trying to program it with Cliffnet v2.20, all is ok apart from I cannot set the crank time for the remote start, its at about 6 seconds at the moment but I just cant seem to change it, any ideas any one? maybe an older version of the software is required but I just cant find anything other than v2.20

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks all

:)

OK I maged to get it in to valet mode via the plain view switch but cant enable program mode, any ideas?  (I thought maybe if i reset factory defaults it might reset the crank time)

Unfortunately, crank time must be set with the Wiz, everything else except siren sounds should be done manually afterwards  ESPECIALLY  tach! Unfortunately I've tried to use versio n 1.1 on Win 98 with earlier model alarms such as the 300, all you get is the same glitches, it just masks them, don't think newer product is any better, my bitwriter keeps getting upgraded and still gives me problems! tedmond, I haven't given up on you, it's just that my Broadband is decidedly narrow 'till I move, how's the leg?

i guess i posted the info in the wrong post, i guess Howie was refering to you...

heres some updated info ppl. since howie cant get on to 12volt cuz his ISP is wacked up, he kindly asked if i could post this information. this is C/P from his email message:

yes I get internet on the train, in the car etc but by God it's slow, too slow in fact to get on to the 12volt forum so please, please place a joint post telling all those who didn't understand me or "listen to what I'm saying", YOU MUST USE CLIFFNET WIZ FOR CRANK SETTINGS (BUT TRY IT WITHOUT ALTERING IT IF YOU HAVE A POST  90'S CAR WITH GOOD INJECTION THAT STARTS ON THE BUTTON WITH NO TRANSPONDER ) ALSO IT'S EASIER TO CHANGE VALET CODES AND SIREN SETTINGS. MANUALLY SET TACH LAST OTHERWISE THE TACH SETTING WILL BE ERASED WHEN YOU GO BACK TO THE WIZ! That's it Regards H.
