Hi looking if I could get a little help installing remote start.
It’s in a 1994 sable, with a prostart3310.
The problem is that I can’t get the car to start with the remote. It will crank for 5 or 6 sec but stops and gives me 3 flashes. I called the tech from autostart the maker and he informed me that the yellow ignition wire is on the wrong ignition wire on the car. I have probed the wires 4 times and I have 4 wiring diagrams all saying that there is only 1 ignition.
Thanks for the help.

From the description of your problem I would have to agree with the tech from Autostart. Did you happen to test the wire that you tapped into on the car to make sure it was an ignition wire? The ignition wire in that car should be RED / light green. I do not have the wiring diagram for a 3310 but from what you have listed that yellow wire should be connected to the RED / light green. Probe the RED / light green while attempting to remote start the vehicle and see if it drops out during crank.

Hi I was wondering if I could get sum advice. I wont to put the door locks on my remote start but the remote out is (-) and the doors are (+). I did copy the diagram on “Convert a Negative Output to a Positive “Output but I popped a fuse. Do I use 87A for any thing, as I did not do anything with this? The remote is prostart 3310 the car is a 1994 sable. Thank you.

Your locks are either negative, or reverse polarity.  It depends if the car had factory keyless. If it  did they locks are negative, if it did not, they are reverse polarity.

Look at the diagrams again and re-test your lock wires.

The starter out is (-) and the charts say that car doors are (+). So you think that the car may be (-) to or the remote is not (-)? And if so how can I test this with a test light.

Get a dmm and set to resistance put the neg probe to ground and put the positive lead on one of your lock wires (pink / YELLOW and pink/green) if they are negative they will show ground when the switch is moved to the proper position. If they are reverse polarity they will rest at ground and go to 12 volts when the switch is moved to it's respective position. Best of luck
