hi, i have a 564t installed in my cadillac. recently the unit wont stop paging the remote, it shows up as the phone icon and it beeps, it will do this almost randomly it seems. i cant seem to find any info on how to disable this. any info is appreciated. thanks.

It usually only does this when you press buttons on the remote. Other than that it shouldn't be paging you.

I've seen it do this when you open the door quickly after disarming - like it's confused and it's trying to warn you about something.

alright thanks. yeah it would randomly page me in the middle of the night and usually a few minutes after i started my car.

check you valet switch. the way you page your remote is to get in your car close all the doors then turn the ing on then off then press and hold the valet switch may be the velvet switch is getting press some how and is cousin this
