Hi guys I did some searching and found a lot of conflicting answers regarding what resistors I need to buy in order to install a remote start on a buddies 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport (diesel).

I understand I need 2 resistors for pulsing unlock and lock. What's the final answer on which ones I need? I found parts express from another post on here and it looks like I can order resistors from them pretty easily... Next question: What wattage do the resistors need to be?

Do I need a resistor for the parking lights as well? (thought I read that somewhere), I've installed a few of these (Valet 562T) remote starts in 2nd gen dodges, but none yet in a 3rd gen.

Your help is appreciated!!

-Brian

yes like "qdaddy" said lock is 820 and unlock is 330 PURPLE / dk green door harness. lights are WHITE/ gray and WHITE/ yellow on driver fender. sometimes you can find a WHITE/ gray that will do both lights. or you can
use WHITE/ light green at the switch (-) with a 1130 ohm res. or hazards WHITE/ orange (-) with a 120 ohm res at the column.
