I was doing some searching for some wire information on the acura tl 04 or even 05 for the clutch wire color.

I did the automatic version but I customer called me telling me that he has a manual TL.

Anyone have info on this car? or does this car does not come manual.

I know that you can choose if you want to drive auto or trip tronic.

thanks

from what i know, the only manual units avail for the market is by compustar, Prostart, Autopage, and a other few units. well, the manual safe unit is designed for manual transmissions. there are plenty of automatic tranny units, but to make it safe for your application, you will end up purchasing a 689m. it ensures you dont leave the car in gear by accident. If you did leave it in gear, and it started; the ebrake still wont do much. so my point is the manual safe allows/ensures your car is NOT in gear by sequence aka (Reservation Mode) .

oh ok understood.

My system is ready for automatic or standard transmission. just by cutting the loop on the unit makes it standard transmission.

the unit is fairly simple to hook up. for the clutch bypass, if i remeber it was a negative, so take the (-) start output from the unit and connect it to the wire that shows ground when the clutch is pressed.
