Hey Everyone, I am new to this forum, Ive just installed a Prostart Remote start into my 06 impala and used an adsl-gm Idatalink bypass module and the remote starter works great! now for the problem. I cant start my car with the key anymore. it gives me nothing when i turn the key. I can remote start the car and put the key to ignition on and drive away but i cannot start the car by the key? Has anyone seen this before?

Check for a small trickle feedback to the accessory wire at the ignition switch. Temporarily disconnect whatever is connected to the Orange acc wire and try to key start.

sorry i should have said this before but i have tried unplugging both remote start box as well as data bypass module and running a jumper from the only cut wire which is the accessory wire (brown on the car) for the bypass module and still no luck, i replugged everything in to so the car would atleast start and it produced the same conditions as the no start with the key, so i programmed the bypass module which uses the key in the ignition on position and the remote start worked again but still no luck with the key? The orange accesory wire from the remote start wasnt used it seems to be controlled by the bypass module. Should i still check for trickle feedback? if so How do i?

Maybe it's time to go fuse fishin'.
Test the following at ignition switch:
The RED / White at the ignition switch is protected by a 10 amp fuse in underhood fusebox labeled "BCM", if you have power on this at ignition switch then it's OK.
WHITE/ Black at ignition should have close to 5 volts and not vary.
White will have no power until the key is slid into ignition cylinder - then it will show 12 volts. White will have close to 5 volts when turned to ignition then a reduced voltage at crank.
Brown will have 12 volts in ACC and IGN but ZERO during crank.
Pink should have 12 volts at IGN and CRANK.

I got halfway through testing the wires with no luck except for 12v main power at the switch and maybe from cycling the key back and forth it started working? I ahve no explanation other than that? everything is working perfectly now and i cannot reproduce the problem, So i cleaned and tied up! Finally finished. thanks for your all your help!
