I have an 01 Grand cherokee and soon I will be putting my Viper 5900 w/ remote start in.  My question is what kind of module will I need to make the install alittle bit easier?   I was looking at the XK531,  will this be my best choice? or is there something better?  Thanks.

XK531 will take care of business. Keep in mind that you need two valid keys to program the XK531 - like all bypasses.

Thanks. So just to get everything correct.  Once the XK531  is wired up with my Viper 5900 my parking lights will blink, doors will unlock/lock, dome lights will come on Just like my stock alarm but It'll be going through 5900?

Thanks for the help.

The XK531 will do transponder, Lock/Unlock, give you driver priority unlock, OEM Security Arm/Disarm, door status output wire for the 5900 green door trigger input.

The XK531 will not turn on parklights and domelight (to turn on interior lights at end of runtime and when doors are unlocked if you so desire).

The parklight output and the domelight supervision as well as obvious wires will need to be connected from the Viper 5900 to the car.
