not exactly sure what you're asking, but your autopage doesn't interface directly with the truck's passlock II. you would need a bypass to do remote start. www.bypasskit.com

I believe the 1700 module reads the passlock thru data. So the actual passlock wires on the truck are not needed.

Look at the instructions for install on the unit... it will say. It also does locks.... I think.

the purple from 1700g which is your data output. hook that purple wire to the purple wire at your obd2 connector on the bottom left side of your dash. but make sure you hook up all the other wires to the 1700g before connecting data wire to truck

There should be a purple wire on the 1700G.  That wire will hook up to the purple wire on the diagnostic plug under the dash.  That should take care of your locks and passlock.

o6 chevy is easy jus like VATS system to bypass the yellow passlock wire will read jus under 6volts using a DMM when u use the key to crank then once located cut it and truck will turn over but not start jus die out then ORANGE / black is ground resistance wire for the passlock usually next to the thin yellow set DMM to ohms neg probe to ORANGE / black and pos probe to key side of yellow then crank to find value once you find value resistor attach one end to ORANGE / black and the other end to yellow side away from key tape it up solder it your done works on all VATS

so wat your saying that i will need resistor between the yellow wire away from key side and the orange and black wire,so i do need to attach these wires with a resistor that i measure for remote start right, and what about the 1700g module did wire it up right

Make sure that you have the correct door pin wires. For the front doors, you must run wires into each door. The driver's door is gray/black and the passenger door is BLACK/ white. Make sure you diode isolate all 4 wires. The band on the diodes should face away from the alarm.

no just one diode per door trigger. or hook up domelight wire and turn error chirp off.

if you use your domelight wire there is no need to diode isolate your door pin wires(not used at all) but you will get that door open warning when you lock it because the light is still on so the alarm thinks the door is open. most alarms have a feature to disable that warning or program it for delay. the domelight wire is gray/black at the black 3 pin far right at bcm. but you will not have that warning feature anymore if a door is left open unless you have a alarm with a programmable feature. post what kind of alarm you are using

autopage 900lcd,so what your are saying that i don't need to use any door triggers if i use the dome light wire, but the only trouble that i have is the 2 ft door triggers and not the back, when i armed it everything is ok until 15 sec later the alarm goes off, confused?

yes if you use the dome light it will sense all doors, no door triggers needed. you should look in your manual, most alarms have a diagnostics to tell you which zone is being tiggered. i am not familiar with the autopage systems, im sure somebody on here is tho. Did you check your diodes and make sure that they are not backwards? im assuming you have them hooked up to the negative door trigger input on alarm? well you could try the domelight and see if it works the way you want it to? it is a positive domelight.

so the grey/black wire on the bcm that i have to hook up too for the positive dome lights?

Date Posted: February 23, 2008 at 10:40 AM
yes just hook that up to your positive input on your alarm

but now when i hook up the wire to the grey/black wire to the bcm, everything is good but when i remote start the car the alarm goes off?any idea.i think the door light is setting the alarm off when i remote start the  truck,
