2008 Toyota Tacoma 4 Door.

Python 990

I bought 2 530T's to do my window Automation.

I ran the wires into the door to hook up directly to the motor for the Drivers door (Auto Feature on this door). I cut both wires and hooked up the wires correctly (Well at least I think I did.) I touch the small orange wire to ground and the window goes up 1 inch and stops. I touch the RED / white to ground and it goes down an inch and stops. I went into the door kick and hooked up the other three doors and had the same problem. I can get the windows to go up and down 1 inch at a time now, and it does this with the remote and the switches on the doors. In the manual it says that I need to set the switches so it will control a less efficient window. I tried every setting that there was and had the same problem, actually on the two lower settings they didnt work at all. It seems like it is venting no matter what but for both up and down. I concluded that they just wouldnt work on my car and was thinking about trying 4 529T's instead. Please help me figure this out. I have spent too much time and money to fail now. I have been installing for about ten years but embarrisingly enough this is my first window control install (Non-VW or Maxima anyway.)

Anyone?

Could someone please tell me exactly what wires go where from the 530T to the Truck? I didnt think I was stupid but perhaps I am. I have access to directwire and I know the wires I am hooking into are the right ones, because when I cut them the window stops working.

Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Kenneth

2008 Tacoma 4 Door
Python 990
(2) DEI 530T window modules.

Here is how I hooked up just the drivers window. Please correct me if I am wrong.

H1/1 Violet - Chassis Ground
H1/2 Green - I cut the down wire and hooked this up to the motor side.
H1/3 Blue - I cut the up wire and hooked this up to the motor side.
H1/4 Red - 12V directly at the Battery
H1/5 Black - Chassis Ground
H2/1 Brown - Switch side of the up wire.
H2/2 White - Switch side of the down wire.
H2/3 RED / White - RED / White wire on alarm. (Verified set to Validity)
H2/4 Orange - Ground when armed from alarm.(Orange in main harness).

No matter what I do the window will only go up about an inch at a time and down about an inch at a time. It does this if I hit the switch or use the remote. I have tried setting the switches to every combination and it still does this. I have tried this on all the other windows and they all do it. I hooked the drivers door directly at the motors and all other doors in the drivers kick.
