Installed an Autopage RF-220 in a 2000 Chevy Express Van.

Customer claims alarm chirps every 10-15secs. when armed. It is just one quick chirp. And it only does this when armed.

This is a fleet and so far I have installed 4 all the same way on the same day. I'm not sure what could be causing this. The only thing I can assume is that the alarm is defective.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Could it be the warning chirp of the 2 stage shock sensor?

Yea, if i was you, turn the shock sensor all the way down or disconnect it and see what happens.

if it's anything like the fleets I service the rear of them are always crammed with tools, building materials, check to see if the doors are shutting properly. I had a customer concern on an intermittent dome light flicker, found he had jammed his spare tire between his toolbox and the rear door so it wouldnt roll around all of the time.
