I am trying to decide on which alarm system to install. Right now I am not looking at getting a remote starter, b/c quite frankly I don't think I would ever use it. I have a few choice in mind and would like to hear what ya'll think about each one and which one would fit my application the best. Basically I want an alarm system that isn't going to be a hassel that I always have to fart around with, I am lookin at the clifford 12.5x, the viper 3002, and the compustar pro, the newest model. Of the three which one do ya'll think would be the best choice, I'd like glass break sensors, a two stage surge sensor and a few other programible options, which do you think would be the best bet? Thanks alot..

This issue comes up alot. You will get alot of mixed feelings of the members on here. Everyone seems to have their own preference. I personally like the DEI units, viper/ python/clifford ect.

Look at the options that each one offer and what appeals to you mostly. I have never had an issue with a viper product, nor the clifford units.
