Hello, I want to install a remote start/security in to my 2004 jeep grand. I ordered a 555c and 455j to tap in to the cars data stream so it will be a on wire hook up for most of the install. My question is dei is such a huge company clifford,viper, hornet ect ect. will these interfaces work with all dei brands? Also which dei starters will have the best range and realy back to you if the alarm goes off. I dont like thieves!!!!!!

Yes you can use them with any brand even none DEI products. As far as for range the SST line. If you want something with long range go with Compustar, will beat anything DEI has to offer.
