I installed a autopage 655 in my MPV and I noticed that in the mornings i can not unlock or remote start my car unless I get really close to the vehicle. Once it is started, it then works fine at further distances. Is this because my car battery might be a little low in the morning due to cold weather? What is the typical battery range that an alarm and remote starter unit needs to function properly? 12.0 Volts minimum? Thanks...

It would be that your battery is alittle low and the fact that its cold out makes it even harder. I can understand this with the remote start part, but it doesnt take much to arm and disarm the vehicle. You could simply charge your battery up, and see how that helps.

check the voltage on your battery in the morning while its cold. should rest 12+ around 13 is good
