I was about to buy a car and was just wondering are you able to put a remote start on a stick. If so i have read that places like best buy do do them because of liability issues.  I know there are remote start systems that don't allow you start the car when the car is in gear. Just another question, Is there anybody that lives in the illinios area that would be willing to do this for me.

You won't find a best buy anywhere that will do a R/S in a manual.

Makers of the type of unit you need. Astrostart, Compustar, Ultrastarter.....there are others.

Well people have their opinion on the best unit. i have always been a fan of Compustar. P2WSSR - AS is the best unit you can buy from compustar. a step down is P2W900FM - AS

just to point out that all Best Buys in Canada do starters in manuals. I always assumed that the states did too.

What doing an Ali G. Gary? They make Chevy SUV's in Kazahkstan so you'd be right at home. I wonder how many people noticed your new location?

What ever system you end up getting installed or installing yourself, make sure that you follow all the safety procedures to protect other's and yourself.
