my friend is hooking up the doorlocks to a honda civic they both show positive at the wires but ,go negative when grounded how do you hook them up?does he need to diode isolate and use a relay to change polarity ,?

Honda locks are negative pulse.

On this diagram just switch pins 87 to ground.
