I've been looking around for a few weeks now for some sort of information on the new Muranos and cannot find much if anything. One of my customers is looking to have a two way alarm/rs put in and she has the intellikey system. Does anyone know what type of install I'm looking at here? The old Muranos with the intellikey were not too bad to to (very similar to a regular coded key install). Have the new ones switched over to a similar system that the new Altimas have? (running wires all over the car to make it work?)

Any wiring and/or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.

2008 murano is the same as a 2007,2006,2005. very easy car to do even without a module. the 2009 is completely redesigned.

In the US, there is no 2008 Murano. There are leftover 2007s, and the new-design 2009s.

In Canada, the new version is sold as a 2008, according to Steven at idatalink.

I use a cansl2. Or you can bury a key and use a timer relay to fire up the keysense. Cansl2 is much easier.
