Notes:
NOTE: Some models have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed during remote start.  *1 The door lock wires are in a black plug behind the fuse box, above a green module.  *2 On the 6 cylinder models, the white tach wire can also be found at the distributor. On the 4 cylinder models, the tach wire can also be found at the ignition failure sensor on the intake manifold, the white wire is in a 4 pin plug with three BLACK/ stripe wires.  *3 Horn relay in engine compartment relay box, or also found right at horn behind left side of front bumper.  *4 When doing remote start on vehicles with factory alarm, must also interrupt the blue/red (-) key sense wire at the steering column using the status output wire to bypass the factory starter kill.

1.) For the factory alarm disarm states "When doing remote start on vehicles with factory alarm, must also interrupt the blue/red (-) key sense wire at the steering column using the status output wire to bypass the factory starter kill."

Does this mean there is no alarm disarm wire, you just need to hook the status wire up to the key sense wire? So the car thinks the key is in it and bypasses the starter kill? Or is there a relay needed?

2.) Some models have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed during remote start.

Anyone know what models have the immobilizer? Or what the key will look like? And 556u will work if needed?

Thanks.

look for a yrellow/white to disarm, in the drivers kick. It will pulse negative when turning the key in the door.

Yellow is for arming, same location, same polarity.

Ok thanks. Will i still need to use the key sense wire to bypass the starter kill?

usually using key sense just allows the car to disarm since it sees a "key" in the ignition. you arent using the key sense wire to bypass the starter defeat(immobilizer) you use the status output or ground out when running to trigger a bypass unit.

How would I hook up the yellow wire to arm my factory alarm when I lock my car?

I have a remote start module, but I don't know if it has the wire to hook up to the factory alarm.

I have the Autocommand OEM 28624TN
