I'm planning to install the Autopage RF-1055KE into my 1996 Audi A4 and I'm running into some difficulty determining how to wire it.
Under the rear seat cushion is the wiring harness for the OEM receiver that I'm planning to replace with the Autopage Unit. Can anyone assist with wiring info?
I appreciate any help you can provide!
Thanks!

Notes:
*1 Factory alarm is on the bottom passenger side of the trunk or under rear seat. *2 Tach is also found at the ECM on the driver side firewall. *3 VSS is also found at the cruise control module behind the glove box. *4 Unlock requires double pulse.
You don't have to remove the OEM system ( this will cause troubles for you if you do remove the OEM system ). Just piggy back the OEM system where you have to.

I took the advice to leave the OEM item in and connected the Autopage RF-1055KE system. Everything worked well except the unlock command. I programmed it to short & long pulses and to double pulse ... all to no avail. I think the vacuum lock system might be causing the problems. Does anyone have any suggestions? Direct experience with this unit?
