I'm not positive I have the 555f wired correctly. I have tried to research this, so I hope it's not a double post. Would really love to figure this out.

The 791xv is mostly functioning, car remote starts with 2nd key in ignition, or even if the second key is close enough to the ignition, like right behind the key cylinder.

I have the 555f, red to constant red at brain, blue to blue (-) status output at 4 pin harness next to ribbon satellite harness. This is the only wire in the 4 pin harness I am using, the other three remain disconnected, not sure if that's correct.

If this is correct than I am really stumped. I have read over and over about key 1 in and light off, key 2 in and light off, 555f at cylinder and remote start, do it quickly, etc...

Does the Ford need a relay the the ignition? Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 555F does not work on the Explorer as of 2001. You need a different module. You can check www.bypasskit.com for some modules that do work.

Wow, sorry, that's exactly what I needed. I really appreciate the reply. That makes sense since we were originally going to install this in his 98 explorer about two years ago.. Thanks again.
