I have a 2005 Honda Civic DX Coupe with Value Package option.
It comes stock with manual door locks.

  • Currently has a Karr 2040 hooked up to the drivers door.
  • I would like to add a 2nd actuator to the passenger door and
wire it into the Karr 2040.
  • I've found the functions of the 14 wire harness but was wondering what
else I needed. Like what relays...etc.  Thanks.

you will need 2 relays for lock/unlock. any 30/40 amp automotive relay is good. and a roll of wire to run from the door to the alarm. thats about it

Just find the two wires that go to the actuator in the driver's door, and connect your new actuator(s) there.

Shouldn't need any relays or anything.

Make the two connections temporary at first. If the actuator in the passenger door goes backwards, reverse your two wires.

oh man, chris does have a point. i was thinking you wanted your actuator to open driver door(driver priority unlock), then with double unlock, the passenger doors open with an alarm, but you just want them to open all at once. sorry for the misleading post.

Thanks for the info.  I'll post the results when I'm done.
