My buddies car got stolen from his driveway last night and I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I got a viper 791xv installed on my 2006 Acura RSX-S with functional remote start. I installed this alarm and did several others when I was an installer but its been a while since I did any alarm installs and am a little rusty. I have been trying to think of a way to install a fuel cut off switch that wouldnt interfere with my remote start. Ive thought about it and have come up with this, as this might seem to be the best way, but I am unsure how I would wire something like this in...
Have the fuel cut off activated when the alarm is armed or when there is no key in the ignition (open circuit) but have the fuel cut off deactivated whenever the car is remote started or whenever the car is started with my key....
Any help/ advice is greatly appreciated...
tell us your car is an auto trans.

better hope it is, but the 791 in a manual tranny = BAD IDEA. but yes you could do ignition kill/starter kill as an alternative.
Nope its a manual. Ive never had any problems with it and I never leave it in gear. Plus, whenever it gets maintenance done, ive always flipped the neutral safety switch, and never start it after any kind of service because techs have a habit of leaving it in gear...
I have installed the 791xv with remote start on all of my manual vehicles in the past with no problems. I'll do it on my car but not anyone elses....
But back on topic, how would i wire something like this up?
should get the 689m and be safe since safety comes first. Also on that note, take your ground out when armed connect to a relay and break the continuity on the fuel pump.
85 - constant 12v
86 - Ground when armed from alarm
87a - fuel pump wire pump side
30 - fuel pump wire car side
