2007 hyundai veracruz, remote start

I'm installing a Prestige APS-57 remote start in a 2007 Hyundai Veracruz. Everything works great except that I can't seem to get door lock/unlock working. A previous post here on the12volt.com lists the wires as BROWN / orange for lock & pink for unlock at drivers door lock module. These wires don't work for me. Someone else mentioned soldering to circuit board. Anyone have exact info? Thanks in advance.

You must solder to the circuit board at the switch the BROWN / orange and pink are the arm/disarm wires. Other than that it's a pretty easy car

Do I need to remove both circuit boards from the plastic door lock module enclosure?

And are the connections on the top part of the circuit board, directly under the switch?

It's like surgury- I don't want to ruin this module.

It's kinda hard to explain you need to disassemble the door lock switch from the door and remove the screws to take off the plastic cover. Once you do that you'll see the circuit board and where the 2 plastic plugs make connection. If you hold the board with the somewhat angled piece in your left hand you will see a long strip of solder points on the edge of the board you want the third and forth pins. Sorry for the description I hope this helps

You explained it great! I took the module apart & confirmed the 3rd & 4th pins were the ones I needed. Thanks for that info. It's always difficult the first time you do a new vehicle.

I used the arm & disarm wires also. Everything works great!
