the problem im having is in the control circuit. when i press the lock button, the doors will lock for a moment, then unlock. i cannot get the doors to stay in the locked position long enough to test the unlock. i know the problem is in my control circuit, but i cannot figure it out. any help would be appreciated.

You'll first want to see if it's the alarm that's rapidly unlocking the doors on you, or something else.

Disconnect the plug with the red and green wires from the Audiovox.

With a jumper wire connected to the car's ground, touch your wire to the 86 terminals on the relays, one at a time.

--If this gets the locks to work correctly, something is somehow wrong with the alarm. Maybe it's not getting reliable power and ground.

--If this does not get the locks to work correctly, something is wrong with your relay setup, or you have the wrong wires in the car.
