I have a 93 Trans am with a factory Keyless entry system. I have purchased a Valet 712t keyless entry system to replace the OEM unit with. I need to know if anyone can tell me how to wire this unit into the existing wires??? colors etc. any help would be appreciated. the directions for the Valet are a little confusing.

Here is a link to the wiring information for the '93 Firebird and here is a link to a diagram on how to wire them. Since your 712T has internal relays you do not need to concern yourself with the 85 and 86 terminals.

Thanks for the reply, however I may be a little dumber than I thought! The original wiring has 11 wires to the control mod. the main wires are org which should be battery, unlock input org/blk, program input RED / blk, program input GRY, ground BLK, and then 2 tan wires? every document I have found do not show what any of these wires are supposed to connect to on the 712t

That site shows a Camaro, but you might find it to be of great help. Lots of pictures too.
