Hello,
I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra with the 1.8/QG engine. I'm installing a Compustar remote start (the MT manual) and I'm not quite sure how to go about bypassing the clutch with a relay. I know that I need to access the switch at the base of the clutch (as opposed to the first one that breaks cruise control). Does anyone know to do this? I'm not sure if I need a relay or if this system requires a (-) signal. Thanks in advance.

I just found out that this is a "Type 2" system, where my clutch wire needs to see ground. If the Compustar outputs a 500ma or so signal, will this be sufficient or is a relay needed? Any and all insight that you could give me would be appreciated.

A relay to trigger a relay. Nope, hook up a negative start to the BLACK/ red @ the clutch switch.

Thank you KarTuneMan. You've helped me in the past and I appreciate it, as always.
