I have a python 990 and a 1701g installed on a new car. The headlights are flashing when I use the remote start and they flash the whole time it is running without a key.

My old car did the same thing and I tried to fix it for about a year, finally I asked some at a shop about it and he fixed it somehow with the valet switch in about a minute. Then only the parking lights came on, which was what I wanted.

I tried to call the guy who fixed it but I think he no longer works they because they always tell me he is on vacation.

It could be that the car is in valet mode, or he used the valet mode to program a feature to turn the headlight flash off.
